*Stomach growls* '...Me too. I haven't eaten since... uh...... Let's just go to the mess tent.'

Lon'qu tiptoed his way past Stahl and Sumia, following Cynthia's lead. He was as quiet as possible while using crutches, and he and Cynthia took a seat at one of the tables when they reached the tent↓

Lon'qu put as much food he could fit onto his plate, craving good Ylissian food after being stuck in Valm for a time. He stayed clear of the strawberries, and grabbed some seeds for the bird. Sitting↓

next to Cynthia, Lon'qu started thinking about the letter from earlier. Whatever happened to Gregor, and wherever he was, Lon'qu was sure he wouldn't be able to do anything about it anytime soon, ↓

with his bad leg and Vaike beaten up. Stahl didn't seem to want to help, which was understandable. Lon'qu inferred that Vaike was beaten nearly to death because he was caught spying, which was the ↓

most likely scenario. Lon'qu tried to start a conversation with Cynthia. '...So... how do you feel about... your parent's... uh... whole kissing situation?'

'*munch* ....Or... if you wanted to talk about something different, that's fine too.'

Appalled at how terribly bad he was at light dinner conversation, Lon'qu was glad Cynthia had come up with a topic. '...I don't know... Vaike said he just disappeared... where could he have gone to?'

'...Hopefully.' Lon'qu hoped that Virion and Gregor would both be okay. He also hoped that Cynthia wasn't too mad at him for ruining the meal.

'...You're right, I don't know him very well. ...We never talked much. Mostly, I only know that he likes strawberries.'

Lon'qu began to feel tired as the seagull fell asleep in the corner. However, he wanted to learn more about Virion from Cynthia above all else at this point.

Despite his efforts, Lon'qu succumbed to his drowsiness and fell asleep next to Cynthia. Perhaps the morning would yield some answers on the other Shepherd's whereabouts. [Goodnight.]

Stahl wakes up, confused that he's back in bed. "What happened. Last thing I remember was uncontrollable fury and a very sloppy and idiotic attempt to improve Sumia's mood."

He remembers something else. "Hm, before I fell asleep, I remember a berry like taste, then I started... getting... tired. Zzz..." He falls back to sleep.

Lon'qu woke with his head on the table, and the seagull tapping his shoulder for food. The empty plates of food were sitting next to him, so he proceeded to wash them. Lon'qu remembered that the↓

previous day was filled with trouble, worries, and awkwardness, which was normal for him. After feeding the bird more seeds, he trudged outside of the tent towards his own, but forgot that Gregor had↓

destroyed it. '...Gods...' The only good thing about the morning was that it seemed that his leg was feeling better.

Lon'qu checked on Vaike, who was still sleeping. Vaike still looked very cut, bruised, beaten, and unrecognizable, but alive. Lon'qu left a couple vulnearies next to him for when he woke up.

"Oh gods, that was NOT natural sleep." Stahl had fully woken up, unsure as to how he'd been forced to sleep the way he'd been.

Stahl finds Sumia in a nearby field. "Sumia, I wanted to apologize for acting so insane yesterday. I got quite out of hand and I hope you can forgive me."

Lon'qu sat on the grass and stared off into space. He pondered certain things such as Gregor and Virion's locations. The seagull then flew towards on him and landed next to him. '...I still haven't ↓

given you a name, have I? ...I haven't seen Nowi in the last couple of days, I was hoping she could name you. ...Maybe if I tried thinking like her?' Lon'qu tried to think of what Nowi would say, and↓

what she would name the seagull. '...Hm... She would probably say something like, "Umm... thinking hard... Ooh! I know! Let's name him Peeko!" ...How's that?' Lon'qu reflected on his impression of ↓

Nowi, and expected the seagull to just stare at him blankly. Rather, Peeko started nodding happily at Lon'qu, pleased with his new name. '...Really? That was good?' With the name decided, Lon'qu ↓

pet Peeko, and wondered what Nowi would actually think of him. [Even though Peeko was a girl in Pokemon, it's a perfect name.]

"I didn't mean to scare you. I only wanted to apologize for being so irrational and downright insane yesterday."

Oh, so it didn't bother you much, right?" Wink.

"*sigh* I deserved it. That was pretty foolish of me to say... and wink." His face turned blood red from shame.

"Sumia, it's fine. I got what I deserved and that's all that matters. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." He gives her hand a squeeze.

Lon'qu walked towards the mess tent and could hear Stahl and Sumia talking about something. Lon'qu's tent was still destroyed, so he would have to sleep in the mess tent for another night. ↓

'...My leg is feeling much better than last night. Has it healed?' Lon'qu leaned against the side of the mess tent, dropped his crutch, and slowly took his cast off. Peeko was frantically↓

shaking his head, trying to get Lon'qu to stop. Gingerly, Lon'qu set his foot down on the ground and put some weight on his leg, and-- 'AAAHH! ...M-maybe not just yet...' Lon'qu put the cast back on ↓

his leg, and entered the tent.

"Sumia, you're beautiful, sweet, determined, caring, good with animals, a great mother; the list goes on and on. Any other woman would pale in comparison to you. You're absolutely perfect."

'*Zzzzzzz*' Lon'qu was now somewhat accustomed to sleeping on the ground. [Goodnight everyone!]

Lon'qu awoke late in the morning, and helped himself to some food. Feeding Peeko some seeds, he wondered what he could do that day.

"You ARE perfect, Sumia, and if I thought otherwise, then I'd be a fool. Or maybe Chrom."

'I wonder where Gregor is...' To distract himself, Lon'qu decided to continue to work on his speech for the bachelor party that was going to come up eventually. He took out the neatly folded piece of↓

parchment, and started thinking hard on what the next word should be. He occasionally consulted Peeko for advice.

Stahl suddenly gets a confused look on his face.

Stahl facepalms himself. "Even when I'M the one making the jokes, I'm always a step behind. *sigh*"

Stahl moves closer and hugs her. "At least you're in a good mood now."

'...Hm? Oh, hello Cynthia. Yes, it is pretty important... I'm writing a speech.'

Notices how tense Sumia is. "You don't have to worried about anything. If you want, I'll try to find a salve for my cheek gash."

"Um, you really wanted to patch that up didn't you sweetheart?" He grins, pulls her into a hug and twirls her hair gently through his fingers.

'...I'm the best man at your parents' wedding, and this is the speech for the bachelor party.' Lon'qu handed Cynthia the paper which still had only one word written on it. '...I'm working on it.'

"Ha, I don't need scars. I bet this devilishly handsome face makes enough heads turn already, especially with your gorgeous one by my side."

Lon'qu took the paper back and stared at it. The strings of words and sentences were unstructured, unorganized, illegible, and made no sense at all. Lon'qu however, thought it was amazing, and tried ↓

to hold back tears as he admired it's magnificence. '...Cynthia... It's beautiful...' Peeko shook his head, disapointed that Lon'qu couldn't tell the difference between literature and gibberish.

'I'm guessing he will... Thanks Cynthia.' Lon'qu was doomed.

"You're adorable when you're flustered." Stahl's cheeks began to blush a bright red as well.

"*YAAAWN* I think I'll head off to bed sweetheart." He kisses her good night on the cheek.

'I think I will go to bed now. Goodnight Cynthia, thanks for all your help.' Instead of leaving, Lon'qu lay on the ground of the mess tent as his own tent was still destroyed.

It was a beautiful morning, and Lon'qu stepped outside to take in all the delightful smells of flowers and morning dew that strangely hadn't been there the previous day. 'What should I do today...?' ↓
