  • It's definitely not fun in team battles...

  • When you go up against competitive fighters and you get the one noob who doesn't know what ↑B is?

  • Yeah. I don't want to sound mean or anything, but it just seems backwards if the first thing someone does is head online without trying out classic, events, or other modes that could improve skill.

  • That's why I don't like fighting when family comes, because they always want me to get in their team, but they don't know how the special attacks work.

  • It's a weird taboo. I don't want anyone to excluded from such a great game, but it's not fun to have a weak link messing up the chain. Idk, I just hope Smash 4's matchmaking is good.

  • Maybe the smash scoring can help with that.

  • What a braaaaaave brave noob that is. Not knowing anything is the first step to becoming a master at anything :D

  • @Forrest I suppose...? But it's not really improving in skill when your teammate just walks off the stage.... constantly. It's just 2v1. Believe it or not, 2v1 won't help you get better.

  • @Anthony Of course! You have to lose some to win some. But that's why there are such things as event match and stadium. These modes help you improve your game.

  • Plus, facing a grossly overpowering opponent won't help you get better: you won't have time to realize what you're doing wrong.
