    I agree, the gobul is a punk. I never liked fighting it, even with good equipment.

    Grab a frog and fish it out,it makes the fight a little easier.Use traps+bombs,a lightning weapon,and break it's lantern as early as you can.Just suggesting a different approach.

    I've only Hunted as a Gunner against the G. I like using the Pellet S on them to insure to break its Lantern as its a essential part . Also THUN. S .
