I think you should've went after those instead. Asking for Classic Link was kinda vague (to me at least) Yet you're right, Link's moves are already set and I don't think the rods will work for a FS :/
Dominion Rod's function was to bring certain statues back to life so don't think that would be very useful against living people. The Ball & Chain should be part of Twilight Link's throws though.
Thats looks good! And you can tell the differences between him and Ness. Personally I like having Ninten have blue instead of red just to make him a little more different from Ness.

The Rods wern't in Wind Waker, (hope Toon Link uses the Skull Hammer as his side b on the ground and the Deku Leaf in the air) The Elemental Rods were only in Classic Link's games.
I hope so but I think we've had a fair amount of females so far especially since two were seperated. I'm also guessing the Villager will have an f.skin too.
Technically Zelda/Shiek and Samus/Zero Suit Samus are the same character. True Villager would have the female skin but she wouldn't be her own character.
A slim chance but maybe Sakurai'll bring another trainer (Gold, Brendan, Nate .. etc.) and that's why he kept the most favorite of the three. A trainer with new starter pokemons ;)

but asking for Ebsimaru, Sasuke or Yae would be pointless. If Goemon ever joins, its either he drags them in or not ;) if you'd like a suggestion, I don't think it's necessary to point ->

That is true that goes for Sonic and Mega Man too but it is not like Sakurai blatantly said that Tails and Proto Man won't be in there because their lead characters are in there.
That can be figured without a statement :) I'm guessing MM will have a Proto Man skin. Not sure about Tails or Knuckles unless he changes the Shadow assist.
I think Shadow will come back as an Assist Trophy. He is basically just a Sonic recolor with Chaos Control. Besides Sonic, Tails is the most iconic Sonic character.
Not even his uniqueness unfortunately. Proto and Mega have no specific arm for their canon, they even can shoot from both at same time. Mega use it for his Flame Blast move in Smash ;)

Welp, seems the rumors might be true. Since nintendo are bringing the NES game for the first time to the west I guess Takamaru may actually be playable and get announced at E3
Maybe, but back in 2012 the creator of Goemon did answer to a fan asking him why he liked Goemon so much and based off the wishes of the fan, he just might be considering reviving the series, there-

OK but I don't think an eshop game is enough for Smash Bros. We got Earthound but no Ness (He will be in there though) Nes Remix 1 and 2 but no ROB but he does have a chance since he represents-

I enjoyed him alot! ROB was actually a really good character than most people think, he had one of the best recoveries and one of the best air games, you could spam with that forward and final smash.
The Yae thing was because of rushing for time to get the first comment (or at least the first 10)I think the StarFox crew is fine except change Falco's moveset, and his and Wolf's final smash.
ROB was originally a Top Tier character, fast and useful tilts, very good range thanks to large hitboxes, and that laser beam he has which covers almost the entire area.
