when you compare ruby n saphire to the other pokemon games it wasnt near my favorite. thats my opinion. the best will always be red blue and yellow

Only getting because RSE are the only ones in the series I haven't played yet, not really a big fan of the entire soundtrack being a load of trumpets but... whatever, definitely picking Mudkip in Ruby

Well that's a good thing I didn't compare it to any other games. If that's not your favorite, I don't care. My favorite is Silver/Gold, but I spent hundreds of hours on Sapphire/Emerald. I'm excited.

kanto and johto were the best regions. gold and silver was amazing having you get 16 bages. going from that to ruby n saphire was just sad

@Ian I originally got them when they first released. I remember going to GameStop with my friend early in the morning and he got Ruby version.

I think Kalos is the best region, they don't force any HMs, it's huge and gorgeous, you can ride Pokèmon! AND there's 300+ Pokèmon in just the regional-dex

dont get me wrong, i played many many hours on ruby and saphire and i still have emerald. but it really wasnt the best one and i think they could had picked something better

Kalos is good. I'd have to say Gen 5 is my least favorite.

@Rocket I feel Ruby & Sapphire were the best choices at the moment. We already got Red/Green makeovers, a GS makeover, and Gens 4-6 aren't really ready to be redone.
