    IMO, it is. The graphics and resolution is really nice. It has Wind Waker cell-shaded styled graphics. There's a good amount of stuff to unlock, like different challenges and such. This game is definitely inspired by Mario Kart and possibly a few other games but it's ALOT of fun to play! IMO, the only downside to this game is the complete lack of drifting (ugh) and no online in this Wii U version.

    One more thing to take note of.. the framerate is around 30fps and is choppy at times. It still plays well. I paid $14.99 for it when it went on sale in the eShop a few months back and don't regret my purchase. If you don't mind paying $29.99 for the Wii U edition (which contains ALL the extra DLC from the previous console versions) then I highly recommend it! Very nice alternative to Mario Kart!
