Obviously too late to be put in the 2.0 update but... VITEO, fix the hitboxes. I have died innumerable times from shots that barely graze (but usually do not even contact) my sub. It's not just me.

    This may or may not apply to you, but here's a secret. If you're by a wall or solid object and a torpedo hits it, you'll take damage. We've all seen shady replays though.

    a torpedo has a certain range and blows up,it also when it blows up near you you lose a little life,this must be what you are talking about,it affects you even if you in the proximity of the boom.

    My father is a subvet. He experienced a torpedo courtesy of the USSR in the 70's. Accurate depiction of a depth charge I'd say, and that is no game.

    @HanSolo I know that explosions do more damage underwater; the fact that water is denser means that there is less compression and therefore energy passes through it with less resistance.
