    Personally I don't consider that the "real" ending because its the default end if you don't have enough assets and it eventually dooms the galaxy. Synthesis is closest to Drew's original vision.

    I just felt that after fighting the Reapers through 3 games, I wanted them to die. I had my assets maxed out and got the Shepard lives ending.
