Reapers could use it in their or the next cycle or destroy them before they can complete it only to realize they don't understand how to finish it themselves as the race wasn't finish so the memorys

It'd let them try. It's done that before but the race always failed. But if it interfered with its solution then it would kill them. But it's unlikely a race could make something it wouldnt understand
