This is the future game, Dark Meta Knight made his debut in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. The real question should be that why would he get revenge on King DeDeDe when it was Kirby who defeated him.

Yes, I played the GBA game before. It's exciting to see familiar characters that come from past installments, such as Cyrstal Shards and Kirby's Dream Land 3.
