Not too thrilled about them changing battle mode for MK8, but I'm willing to give it A chance. Besides the regular races in MK8 are gonna be real fun! Can't wait until May 30!

    Right?! How could past Battle Mode arenas not appear?! And why have a timer with no option to turn it off?! Makes no sense whatsoever! Why have they completely ruined and destroyed Battle Mode?! Why?!

    Simple fix... Create every past Battle Mode course and add a few new ones. Have an option on the timer, off or on. Battle Mode fixed. You're welcome, Nintendo. Enjoy Mario Kart 8.

    I often think Mario Kart Double Dash had the best battle mode system. I could play for hours on it.

    You technically could do a Bob-omb Battle in MK7 by hosting your own battle community with bombs only, but it's not really the same since you don't get stacks of bombs in hand. I can see it return.

    I think MK: Double Dash was the most unique game in the series. Every game in the series after DD seems to be almost A step down in the series compared to it. They should add Double Dash mode in MK8.

    There is no way "Double Dash mode" could be added to the game, but true Battle Mode arenas and the ability to turn off/on the timer can certainly be added...

    Yeah, they need to update that so you can turn timer on/off. I think they will do DLC that gives us battle mode arenas.
