A game that I'm really hoping for now is a new 2D Metroid. It'd probably be on the 3DS if it comes around, but so be it. I'd like some good ol' fashioned Metroid, not that Prime stuff.

    I liked both the 2D games and the Prime games,but not Metroid Prime:Hunters that sucked.

    Definitely Super Metroid. I had a lot of fun with that one. Zero Mission is a close 2nd though.

    I'm not a big Metroid fan, but I would like the next Metroid game to be similar to Metroid Other M. It brought the 2D Metroid gameplay style into 3D. The Metroid Prime games are quite different.
