    I hate to be THAT guy but uprising is the only kid icarus stuff they can use, lets face it material from a game that sold like hotcakes is going to be more relevant than material from a game that barely anyone has played no matter you hate the material that is used.

    While I would like to see more classic KI stuff used, I feel like Uprising is just more popular. What they could do though is have classic skins for Pit and Palutena. Then there could be a stage based off the original KI. An upward scrolling stage based off Underworld and Skyworld. I do enjoy both KI and Uprising and wouldn't mind if this could be true.

    Which is a shame b/c most Up. fans have never even heard of KI until SSB, and Uprising ignores a lot from the original; the tone, the atmosphere, the lore. Uprising could have had the names of recurring characters changed and no one would've said, "Oh hey, this was supposed to be Kid Icarus!" I would be interested to know Mr. Osawa's opinion on Up.. He's the one who created KI.

    I am very fully aware of how popular Up. is, and I really don't know why. The plot has too many holes in it, the characters are anime archetypes with nothing original to them, the female characters are just fanservice-- I just answered my own question.
