    According to Miyamoto, Zelda was originally going to be a dungeon making game in which you shared levels with friends using the Famicom disk writer

    Beat me to it! The original Zelda game was going to revolve around designing dungeons for your friends to play through. But it turned out that playing the dungeons was way more fun than making them, and the rest is history. Pretty neat that Nintendo were thinking about stuff like this as far back as the NES though.

    are u kidding me? creating zelda dungeons is an extremely GREAT idea! its just, can we plz enjoy creating mario before begging nintendo to make zelda maker before mario maker even has a relese date. its just dumb. i agree with zeldamaker, lets just enjoy mario first, jeez...
