Let's face it. If Microsoft buys Capcom, Capcom will go down the same way as Rare. Capcom needs a buyer who isn't incompetent and ignorant when it comes to classic titles. We need to preserve gaming history. Oh, that's right! Remember how people always say Nintendo keeps falling back on their past? Nintendo is the perfect candidate to buy Capcom. Do it now.

    Microsoft can't buy Capcom because there's a Japanese law prohibiting non-Japanese companies from buying Japanese companies via shares.

    @Josh That is false, the law is a Anerican company can't merge with a Japanese company, they can by them though. Besides this isn't even a situation where Capcom is outright bought. It's whoever buys the most shares, you or I could buy the most shares and own Capcom

    If Nintendo were to buy Capcom, maybe they can revive Mega Man. But indeed, it's more that they can buy the shares, and own Capcom in that way.
