    he is not 12 besides if your talking about the time his journy has taken he is 16 and yes it is targeted towards kids but there are adults who still watch it he turned 11 in the movie 2000 but after that he is 10 again

    Ash has always been 10, yes adults watch it too but their main audience are the kids, just saying lol. That's why the anime is silly, kids like that kind if stuff :P

    It would be nice to make ash win SOME battles, not all. I think what he was trying to say is that it was pretty dumb how they made pikachu win against a legendary but lose to a regular snivy(from what I'm getting, correct me if I'm wrong)

    It's targeted to kids who are younger than us not just 10 year olds. Like probably 14 and under...I used to watch pokemon when I was 5 and I loved the hardcore battled he had, especially in the movies!

    I understood the anime and the games pretty well, I'm sure most kids under 10 could too. I only watched it because it seemed interesting and I loved the style(and the battles). I didn't care much about the plot anyway.
