As long as you don't watch the cut scenes it's ok if you like them. Even though they have the worst controls and cutscenes of any game ever, I don't mind if you like them. I'm just trying to warn you about how bad they are.

To me, the CDi games had a lot of potential. I liked the world layout, the stories and characters, the return of sidescrolling, and the games seemed more connected to each other, as if they had an ongoing plot. But the final result is still very lacking compared to other games in the series. Still, if Nintendo decided to remake these games in their own image, we'd probably get some quality titles.
