Lets hope that Wolf and Krystal are DLC characters. If any characters deserve a spot in SSB, it is them for sure. The Starfox franchise needs more representation in SSB.

I don't see how them already being trophies makes it less likely they'll be DLC. If anything it's more likely since the models are already made, they just need to be animated. They could reorder the trophy listing once the DLC is downloaded to put them with the playable characters.

dlc is simply an add on,a bonus regardless of the game being completed or not. it's been done before and still doing. with that said, there's no guarantee for dlc, but not impossible as u make out.

oh and mario kart 8 has link as racer for dlc too as an example.

dlc is plausible. with what they've done with new super mario bros wii u,mario kart 8,hyrule warriors,sonic lost worlds, and fire emblem, do u really think they'll pass up on chance to make more value, on the best selling series on the nintendo system? it's just a possibility.

If characters already have trophies, that would mean rewriting their descriptions to be more in line with other playable character trophies (there's a general description of the character is & a bit of how they fight in SSB). Plus it seems weird that you can get their trophy without beating Classic Mode. Not to mention, the trophy models don't seem as detailed as playable character models.

I haven't seen a Wolf or Ktystal DLC yet... But keep your hopes up! There's still time for Sakurai to make it possible!!!

so for previous playable characters there's, a trophy of mewtwo,wolf, and ice climbers i hope some missing veterans (even snake) can still be playable if there is dlc.

@Vivianwolf and timid I've dealt with DJR before. He is the type of person who thinks whatever he says to be the truth because he himself said it. Also from dealing with him in the past, I know that he hates Krystal for a living. The idea of Krystal being a playable character in SSB drives him crazy because he thinks Krystal is nothing more than fanservice.

@DJR I find it hilarious that you think it is deconfirmed just because you heard it from GameXplain. Last I checked, GameXplain doesn't make the choices on whether SSB4 gets DLC or not.

I raced with Andre Segers from GameXplain. 9u9 xD But anyway to Dj, People will want DLC whether you like it or not. We all get the point that you disagree with these characters but in the end it's up to Nintendo to decide if they'll provide DLC. It'd be weird if they didn't for this game by next year imo. O.o

@Vivian Wolf & Spirit, you guys know that each character actually has two taunts right? :D Once you defeat someone or blow up an opponents vehicle, press the taunt button and they do and say some thing else!! :D I discovered this accidentally playing against my best friends and then we wore the 2nd taunts out once we got the hang of it xD

Peppy is pretty fun to play as xD Whenever I'd play as him I'd constantly hop and say "boing" every time xD!!! It was kinda creepy to be honest. ^^' I'd be SO happy if Star Fox Assault got a HD remake on Wii u. -w- to dream .-.

Darn shame Wolf didn't make it back... Darn shame. I thought he was a better fit for Smash than Falco even. Hopefully he'll at least get to be in the new Star Fox for Wii U, but I wouldn't count on it. Reboots are not uncommon in this series.

IMO, I'd be fine with just Fox, Falco, Wolf, and Krystal. I feel like Star Fox isn't a big enough franchise to have TOO many representatives.

Star Fox Assault is a highly under rated game the multiplayer is amazing it would have been better if the game would have been released on the Wii it could have had wi-fi connection and online play would have been a blast.
