    When it was first released, Zelda had set the bar high and in a specific direction. Graphics were as realistic as the N64 could manage and MM to this day is the darkest of the series. Then came WW and people got puzzled with the shift Aonuma took. Its cartoony and light. Change is often hard for nondiehard fans to work with. Its great that they made a remake though. It def was brought back to life

    It was overlooked when it came out mostly because people had to adjust to its unexpected art style, but now people seem much more accepting of it overall.
