    The game was streamed on Twitch! So many people saw it firsthand and could tell you that the leaked characters were there. Also, there is a lot of recorded gameplay footage and screenshots of the stream on YouTube, some of which feature character artwork for Duck Hunt, Dark Pit, Wario, etc., and they're posed just like they were in the leak. There's a GameXplain discussion about it as well.
