    It does play with your friends and destroy them then a cutscene of them ragequitting will take place!

    It doesn't. They tried to remove cutscenes so that nobody would leak them (that's what happened in brawl) but people still leaked the roster anyways :P. I wish we had story also though, it was cool and an easy way to unlock characters.
