Why I hate Red and love Ash: Red lost once to his rival and it never happened again, he won every badge on his first time, and NEVER lost. He's the typical 'perfect character', witch is just lazy writing. But Ash, he always lost when he battled Gary until the Pokèmon Leage, and he always loses the Pokèmon Leage, but does he give up?     but red isint the best he's second best and its not like red gave up after 2 gen games also i hope ash gets better at battleing because...well he should be by now also his pikachu would probably be around lv 100 (also is it just me or dose ash keep looking more and more like red....)

    Then there's this: Red chaugt all known Pokèmon and only used 6 of them in battle, Ash (exapt when he was in the safari zone in that banned episode) only chaugt Pokèmon who wanted to go with him, or that he liked, and if they were happyer in the wild or with someone else, he let them go.

    I don't like both... I think Ash should have won at least 1 league and get 1 legend... He's overused just like Red. Gold is actually the best trainer since he has 16 badges and won 2 leagues! Nobody beat that ('till now). In Origins he manage to win if whe it's impossible.
