After seeing Dark Pit's gameplay, I'm really wondering why they made him his own character, I mean he plays EXACTLY like Pit, not even Brawl's Pit, this game's version, the only differences I see are the Electroshock Arm, which could've been a custom move for Pit, and his Final Smash directly rips off Zelda, I hate to complain, but just what's the point of him being his own character again?

    I would be ok with the Doc and Dark Pit in the game if he at least tried to make them different. But nope. They're clones.

    I have nothing against him as a character, in Uprising he's one of the best dark clone characters I've seen in a while, but if this is what they were going to do with Dark Pit's moveset, just what's the point? I'm just confused

    I can see what they were going with for Dr. Mario, I mean he has Mario's Melee moveset and I know most people don't like FLUDD, so I can at least see what they were going with there

    They should have at least change a few of Dr. Mario's normal and speical moves to make him play different from Mario

    I'm still gonna play as Dark Pit, rather than Pit. Why? Because I like Dark Pit more as a character. And as stated earlier, Dark Pit's custom moves might be very different from Pit's.

    Dark Pit : Pit :: Ganondorf : Capt. Falcon Dark Pit is slower and more powerful, his arrows don't curve as much and he probably has a unique set of custom moves that uses different weapons from what Pit has (I hope)

    Dr. Mario could have easily been a skin for Mario. He's the same person! Dark Pit could have also been a skin. Making him playable is like making Mr. L or Dark Link playable. I mean Alph was a skin for Oilmar, and they are two totally different characters.

    I think Dark Pit's moveset is Pit's set from Brawl. Maybe he's here because other players prefer using the brawl moveset rather than the new one, like using Dr.Mario for the tornado instead of F.l.u.d.d. But that's what I've been hearing from Gamexplain so who knows!

    No, I've seen gameplay of him and he plays exactly like Pit from this game, not Brawl, he has the Power of Flight, the Guardian Orbitars, the only difference is that he has the Electroshock Arm instead of Upperdash, but that could've easily been a custom move
