  • Thanks, but it wasn't really critical yet, but still thanks ^^. I will likely comment the rest tomorrow as I have a lot of free time tomorrow as I have a shorter school day :-).

  • As for Chopin and Mozart I see and understandable. I don't really listen to Mozart or Beethoven, but if I have done it or want to do it, it would be the songs I heard in Disney's Fantasia which I really like :-). (Grown up with a ton of Disney so... which probably also lead me to Kingdom Hearts as well).

  • I usually just listen to music and not watching the video itself, or at least usually switch over to just music after watching the video a few times depending on what video/op it is. With "Tales of" I actually mean the "Tales of" series ops, like "Tales of Symphonia" or Tales of "Xillia" :-). ("Tales of Asteria" op full version favorite ^w^. A lot of good messages in it :-).).

    Yeahs0
  • So yeah "Tales of" ops are video games ops with Japanese singing :-). So you haven't Fluxx yet, well I hope you get a Fluxx soon if you are interested and I hope you and your family will have a lot of fun playing Fluxx ^^. (A bit steep learning curve at first maybe, but after the 2 or 3 round it should get better and better). And hope you find a video with Cartoon Talk soon :-).

  • I see and yeah, can really understand that coding something so complex compared to things you have coded before maybe, but glad you are having so much fun even there are some a bit frustrating problems or bumps that come up from time to time :-) I think you should really watch Extra Credits newest episode from last week and the episode that comes out later today. (Only about 2 hours left now *w*)

  • I do like math technically, but I am not sure if I know enough at the moment to be really good, though are dealing with figurative numbers now in my class and I can't say that my logic has cracked the code for how to solve those kinds of math problems. I am interested in coding yeah, but I am not sure if I want to have as a job or just a hobby if I really start coding.

  • I have tried CodeCombat with Python, but the levels wasn't always working and even if I knew what to do the program wouldn't let me as it had bugged or glitched or something weird so stopped for a while. I am most interested in learning Python first as it seems to be one of the easiest languages to learn first, but I am not sure where a good place start learning would be.

  • Thanks and like I said before, you are a very good friend to me too ^^. Life goes on and I don't think it is anything wrong with that, the important thing is just that we remember each other even if we rarely think about each due to live continuing :-). Thanks for all those good words and I think I can apply those words from me to you as well ^^.

  • I was going to comment tonight, but it got late fast. Still, I will definitely reply tomorrow :-)

  • I'm already on episode seven (I think) of StrikerS. And yes, I am loving it :-) I am reading Shogun by James Clavell now (a novel based in old Japan), so yeah, I am learning a lot more words from that too. Still, thank you for catching me on the word "Zannen" to "Gomen".

  • It's funny, just today I read a scene in Shogun mentioning that "Gomen" was "Sorry" :-) It's amazing how coincidences as this can happen. Nonetheless, though the book said it too, thank you again for catching me on "Zannen" to "Gomen". I really appreciate it :-) As for the sentence, "Desu" is usually a polite ending word (it could also mean "well?" to omu).

  • You also mentioned that "Sumimasen" could be used for "sorry", so the sentence so far is "_ sorry _, _ _." or "_ I'm sorry _, _ _." I omitted "Desu" in the English translation because, since it's most likely just a polite ending, I thought it didn't fit into any English words. I know I had manabu "Deshita", ima, but I can't seem to remember nani it means.

  • As of now, I'm guessing "Hontoni" means "So", as in "So sorry". "Deshita" might mean a form of "I", but, considering Japanese is SOV, the placement wouldn't make sense. Since "I", in this case, is the subject, the "I" should be in the beginning if it's in the sentence. (The "I" could also be out of the sentence, since "I" is not often used in Japanese.)

    Yeahs0

  • With that said, I don't think "Deshita" is "I". I can't really think of what "Deshita" means then. Also, I would say that either "hoshi'n" or "waketta" is "please", but, from reading Shogun, I think "please" is "dozu". I also know that I have learnt "waketta" before, but I can't seem to remember that either.

    Yeahs0
    Played
  • Also, none of them is "understand", since "understand" is "wakarimasu". ("wakarimasen" for "I don't understand" and "wakarimasu ka" for "Do you understand"). With those also said, I have no idea what "waketta" or "hoshi'n" could mean. Maybe "waketta" could mean "me" while "hoshi'n" could mean "forgive"? I will go with that definition :-)

  • Therefore, with all (likely false) knowledge gathered, I'm going to say the sentence is: "So sorry _, forgive me." Also, I tried to do an experiment by adding a few Japanese words here and there through my normal dialogue to strengthen my memorization on Japanese words, but I think doing so made my sentences more confusing in anything.

    Yeahs0
    Played
  • Plus, Japanese has a different word order, so using direct substitution might not be the wisest choice of action. Therefore, I think I will close my experiment and continue doing what we usually do :-)

  • Will eat a little now and do some homework, but I will continue the rest in an hour or two.
