Grumble Volcano time trial. Roughly 17th attempt to beat the computer and earn the stamp. Leading for once on the second lap. Without warning kart conks out and rolls to a stop. I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE PUT IN FRESH BATTERIES! \(_ _;)

    Ouch. The moral is battery > human. People, don't become battery victims like us. I really can't complain though as it was the set of factory-packed batts that came with my preordered MK8 Wii U bundle. (- -;)

    Haha. I used to have rechargeable batteries that could be recharged just by placing the controllers on a charge pad. I miss that.

    Yeah, the less effort the better! Rechargeable AAs don't seem to last as long as typical alkalines, but oh well...
