this guy named ziggy was using a submachine gun that shot about 40 rounds per 5 seconds , and i was using a sniper, wich is one shot per reload... i won the free for all game, and he said that snipers are cheap and require no skill, well tell me this, when was the last time you saw a sniper that could shoot 40 rounds in 5 seconds...yeah thats right, logic, wich you have none of

easier to use, hints the reason you dont use snipers, but im not immature, i dont complain about your weapon choice...if snipers were so easy to use, then why dont you, and the majority of players use them, well kts simple, because there to difficult for you

In my experiences, the Ballista isn't easy to use, but is probably the best weapon at all distances. If you learn to use it well and have a good sense of the center of your screen (or put a dot on the center with a marker), then the Ballista is a strong weapon with little or no counter. The only way to beat a fully aware, top-notch player with Ballista is if they make a mistake.

you described this player as a professional and this professional got so goo with the balista because of skill and practice.... a person can reach the same skill level with a submachine gun, let alone any gun....what you said up there proves my point, you had to include that the person behind the gun had skill, not luck do to the weapons capability

you even had to use ''top-notch'' haha, well that sums up my point, anyone can use any gun , and use it so that they can be so good that others disreguard that persons skill, for the ''over powering'' of the gun...you can be just as good with a sub machine gun as you can with a sniper, now tell me right now, in a real life lvl, would you want a fully automatic weapon, or a 1 shot sniper...

we all know the answer to that, so lets not prove a point that dosnt exist

anger towards these snipers is caused by peoples fusteration, and that fusteration is caused by the fact that they cant achive the same skill level as the other person, so they ignore the fact that the person is better then them, and due to immaturity, they blame the weapon

Real-life and Black Ops 2 are like steak and chicken. Same idea, but completely different. The Ballista ADS is on par with assault rifle ADS, and all you have to do is be accurate (with Toughness perk, too, making even SMGs less effective with multiple shots) and the Ballista can stop ANYTHING. You don't need any professional-level skills like callouts and knowledge of everything.

And keep in mind, I am not arguing about your ''immaturity'' claims. Someone else can do that. I'm only talking of the Ballista's ability in a Black Ops 2 situation. It's actual, coded stats pretty much say ''One Shot Kill Assault Rifle,'' excluding the rate of fire. Because (typical) SMGs take 4 shots to kill, Toughness will let you absorb the first three with you losing accuracy.

The time it takes those three shots you allows you, with Ballista, to aim in and kill them. Also, if their shots miss and/or you have cover, there's even more time to kill them.

I) you once agian outlined another one of my points, the balista is 2 shot kill, and one shot on uppper body, the fully auto weapons can have the same effect, it all depends on accuracy, wich both weapons have, they are equal...damage wise, the balista stands out because it is a sniper, why wouldnt it contain that damage.

2) the balista is effective during medium and long range combat, while full- semi auto weapons dominate the short to medium range combat.. once again both equal

3) the balistas first shot is how you kill someone, that first shot is all it tames to either die or kill the player, so you have 1 chance, hints the one bullet per bolt, after that if you miss, the player will sprat you with a fully automatic weapon, and you have aboht a 10% chance of winning that senerio, wich literally happens all the time. the full auto weapon has a much much higher chance

the automatic weapon will over power the reload speed and accuracy of the balista. there for the balista and fully auto weapon come to an agreement there too, it all depends on the skill of the player

4) even me, as a sniper, would choose a fully automatic weapon over a sniper, if i knew that if i lost the game i would have consequences..simply because i know that a sniper vs a fully auto gun, with a player at the same skill level as me would win.

5) conveniently you keep ignoring my questions because you know that answering them would prove my point. if a sniper is so good, why dont you use it

6) the best cod player achived his place through semi-3 round burst- and full auto weapons, not through snipers.. so tell me how that works with what your trying to say, the best ranked people dont use snipers, some do, but they arnt as good as the ones that dont

so ask me why i use snipers, simply because it is challenging and fun

When have I ignored a question? I've put into perspective an accurate player with Ballista and a person with a typical SMG. The typical SMGs take 4 shots to kill even with headshots. Also, I already covered the fact that, if the Ballista player makes a mistake, SMG will win. You refrained my whole side of the conversation and you're still arguing. I even told you I'm ignoring the maturity stuff.

Another thing is, I've never seen someone use Ballista for long range except at the beginning of a match where people are still at spawn. c: I always see people using it like a shotgun role.
