    I'm not talking about specific songs but the overall feeling that it is easier to get S Ranks. I think you can even see this on the basis of your score

    Yes, they've changed things up. The field is zoomed out to get a better look at the notes, the timing of the buttons is more forgiving, you can equip items without it affecting your final score, the feature zone notes have been slightly changed to react more quickly and there are many more refinements. I'm very happy with the game.
