Crew Reviews: Sea Dogs There are four Sea Dogs which boost submerged speed by one point each. D and A are available in the free version and also happen to be the best two. D has no stat penalty and A docks surface speed. Sub. speed and turn rate are both key for maneuvering during combat and out of it, which is more important is debated.
