    Two different moves, and something to do with is weight and speed... Nothing Special, but Sakurai decides to return a nothing over a something from melee.

    Dr Mario was in melee so they put him in to appeal to the melee community and he's slower but stronger than mario

    I heard he was a late addition along with Lucy and Dark. Best of the clones, though, he's got the classic Mario moveset from 64/Melee.

    Because there are no differences between Alph and Olimar whereas Dr Mario and Mario have different moves.

    How can Sakurai have two clones who look the same and with almost all the same moves when we got Wolf as a bonus last time, no excuse.

    He plays differently, and Sakurai said those who play differently have a shot at the roster. He's slower than Mario, Is a much heavier hitter than Mario, His "Super Sheet" attack has more vertical range compared to Mario's cape, and His Down+B is not F.L.U.D.D., but rather a very powerful spin attack.
