    It's hinted at in several games (although in Skyward Sword and Spirit Tracks, it's really safe to assume that Link and Zelda are a couple/can potentially become a couple; it really depends on how the player sees it).

    I think it's one of those details that's best left to the player's imagination. Like leaving Link a silent protagonist. Fan consensus seems to be Skyward Link and Zelda raised a family, Ocarina Link DIDN'T get Zelda (because he either settled in what became Ordon Village or he died in his travels), and other Zelda/Link pairings (outside "Adult Timeline" descendants) are unlikely due to social clas

    One possible way to interpret this game is that this Hyrule is in an alternate universe but the adventures in the interdimensional portals (Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess) take place in the actual Zelda timeline.
