    From what I've heard on behind closed doors announcements they are making 2 one 2d and a 3D probably it will be like you said

    I imagine a new entry in a lot of their older franchises are more likely to debut on 3DS, or if not, on the eShop, given it'd be cheaper to make and the 3DS being more popular gives the revived IP a higher chance of success. Of course, there are plenty of series that ever better fit a console release, are able to return niftily through HD remakes, or can potentially utilise the Gamepad well.

    There were concept art pictures leaked recently from the guys that made Luigi's Mansion 2 that they had started a Metroid game that got shelved in favour of that. Maybe it'll get revisited now.

    Dark Moon was alright, didn't like the bosses much but as a sequel I thought I'd never see it could've been a lot worse. I'm sure they're working on that now, don't remember reading about them working on anything else since Dark Moon.

    I'm personally hoping to see Next Level Games new project to be a new Punch-Out game. It's been on my E3 wishlist for a while now. Retro Studios are likely working on a new Metroid game, given we haven't heard from them in a while, though the main rumour going about is that their making Diddy Kong Racing 2.
