    It doesn't matter when you do it. You can even do it now, if you want - just do a system transfer between your old 3DS and New 3DS! :) If you plan to sell your 3DS to your local store when you buy it, I'm pretty sure they will let you do the system transfer there. Or you can just ask. This is not the best place to ask, obviously, but fortunately, I saw your post. :)

    Thanks for the advice HugCoralie but one more thing, can the old 3ds system transfer with the new 3ds i am just trying to be sure
