    From what I understand, and this is an educated guess, posting certain URLs is considered to be a form of either advertisement or posting your personal information be it your own or someone else's. Personally, if the URL leads to something like a "player's guide" (like the Serenes Forest fansite), fan work, or your own Let's Play, I don't see the problem in posting them.

    It makes me think that most of the admins here don't frequent more of the social websites on the internet. Considering stuff about URLs leading to stuff like fan works and the like. Granted, I do respect them for what they do. But that's usually when their attention is on a person that's more deserving of getting stuff like suspensions and admin-deleted posts. Such as trolls or crudposters.
