    Roy is an alternate costume whereas Roy is a clone-ish character. I don't really know, Roy does have his perks and is easier to just use then Roy. Roy takes a lot of practice to use but I think the pay-off is better then if you pick Roy. So I'd have to say Roy. But definately don't write-off Roy, he's still a very good character.
