    In realtà Bangkok significa "villaggio di pescatori" e il nome di cui sopra descrive gli attributi della capitale per distinguerla dai numerosi bangkok presenti lungo la costa. :)

    Mentre invece la città la quale possiede il nome più esteso si trova in Nuova Zelanda,tuttavia,l'ononimo nome di essa non viene affatto semplificato,bensì pronunciato interamente come tale.
