    Popuri, do the following 2 things. You'll thank me later. One, finish Legend Mode (main story mode) of Hyrule Warriors. It reveals that Sheik is Zelda. Also, go play Ocarina of Time since obviously you haven't played that game (because the big Sheik reveal happens in that game) and Ocarina of Time is amazing. Go get it!

    Shiek is considered a boy but since Shiek really is just Zelda in Disguise, tecnically also a girl. However, Hyrule Warriors Just saves us all the trouble by straight out considering and listing Shiek down as a girl.

    my first legend of zelda game was ocarina of time.When shiek shows up im like cool another male character!Then the big reveal that shiek is zelda!So im all like I didnt expect that to happen!

    It's a translation error that stated Sheik was a man in Ocarina of Time. In the original Japanese game, Sheik was referred to with gender-neutral pronouns, meaning her gender was unknown. Perhaps to compensate for this mistake, all subsequent appearances of Sheik are slightly more feminine.

    Some argue Zelda used magic to better disguise herself, and turned herself into a man, however this theory was debunked by Nintendo Devs who confirmed Sheik to be- a woman. #The More You Know
