I tried out the Friend Safari for the first time just now, and I managed to get 3 Hidden Ability Pokémon - Toxicroak, Gloom, and Electabuzz, all with really good IV's! I was quite impressed with this considering it was a first attempt! :D

    Yeah, I know that hidden ability Pokémon are more common in the Friend Safari Punk, but I didn't expect it to be as easy as that. I did get some Pokémon that were non-hidden ability too, it was about half and half. I thought that was good for a first attempt in the safari.

    Hi Manda, how you doing? Are you as excited as me for the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire demo tomorrow? Mega Steelix and Mega Glalie are going to be in it and you can transfer them via Pokemon Bank to Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire when they come out.

    Did you know that shinies are more common in the Friend Safari too, Manda? :D I remember I got a shiny Growlithe there on my third encounter. Also, sorry that I have a pretty lame Friend Safari, lol.

    Hiya Fraz, it's great to hear from you again. :) Yes, I am looking forward to getting the OR/AS demo. I've asked my partner to go to GAME for me today, to see if he can get me a demo code. I didn't want him to take my 3DS though to the shop as the town centre is rife with thieves, so I don't think I'll get the shiny that's on offer through the Nintendo Zone. :( Still, the demo is the main thing.

    Yeah Chels, I did know that shinies are more common in the Friend Safari, I hope I can encounter a shiny or two in there. :) Shiny Growlithe must be so cute! It's ok about your safari, mine is pretty lame actually, lol, although I don't know what my 3rd Pokemon is, now that I've completed the game. I need to ask someone to have a look for me.

    I understand the fear of your 3ds getting stolen. Mine is with me all the time, but I've misplaced it a couple of times. I nearly have a panic attack. So many hours

    Hi Joe. Yeah, my 3DS is my prized possession, lol, if I lost it I'd be devastated. The trouble is with not taking the 3DS out with me, is that I can't get anybody on my Streetpass, and to unlock a feature on my Tomodachi Life game, I need a visitor on my Streetpass. Do you use the Streetpass feature Joe? I did get the shiny Gengar yesterday though, it looks awesome when it mega evolves,it's white!

    I streetpass all the time, on pokebank you trade your streetpass miles into bp. I've just been to my local Game and they haven't been given the codes yet. Seriously!!!! Me and my daughter want mega Gengar

    Aww I'm really sorry to hear you haven't got your demo yet Joe. :( To be honest, being able to access a demo has been a complete shambles and the information to access a demo from anywhere else has been extremely vague. Have you tried Nintendo Life, you can enter yourself into a random draw to win a demo code. You only need to enter an email address to be put in the draw. 250 codes are randomly..

    I got a code from ShopTo.net. They send you one even if you don't pre order from there. As long as you have an account you can request a demo code. The ORAS demo is what I expected though. A sampling of the music in ORAS. With Emerald being my favourite Pokémon game, I was pleasantly surprised when playing the demo and experiencing that classic Trainer battle theme with my trusty Blaziken.

    I managed to get a demo code from a friend in the end Fraz, so I was ok. :) But my partner won a code from Nintendo Life, so I would have been ok anyway as he would have given me the code, knowing how much I wanted it, lol! I'm pleased you're enjoying the demo, I haven't had time to look at mine yet. So you chose Torchic, I'm choosing Treecko. I think I'll have another Zigzagoon/Linoone too. ;)
