    Pac-Man has crossed over with Mario four times, he had plenty of move set potential, and Bandai Namco was co-devoloping Smash, Pac-Man is PERFECT for Super Smash Bros..

    Pacman is one of the 4 legends of gaming next to Mario, Sonic, and Megaman. I think he fits in just fine. But thats just my opinion.

    Pac-Man is Miyamoto's favorite video game character. Plus, think of how All-Stars works. Of course one of the earliest, most well-known game characters ever would be honored there. It's not like he's a bad fighter, either. :P He has more of a place than Sonic, at least (who was added so Nintendo could say "we added him, now shaddup").

    I actually thought PAC-MAN's moveset was somewhat uninspired, I was thinking, "He could have had so many moves related to his games! Pac-Pellet Slingshot, Butt-Bounce, Rev-Roll, the helmet from PAC-LAND, the works! Instead we got tons of shameless advertising of Namco's glorious past."
