Does anyone agree that Toon Link should not have been brought back? I know that he's "cute" and pretty good in combat, but I just don't like him. He's my least favorite character on the current roster.

    Bruh. It's just a clone character. He didn't replace anyone so it doesn't even matter that he's in.

    He is a huge clone, but he's one of those better ones. I definitely prefer him over Link. The only reason he was brought back though was because of Windwaker HD

    I prefer Young Link as well. I also respect your opinion if you like Toon Link. I do not like him. Something just feels... weird about him to me. Maybe it's because he's a semi-clone like Falco, Ganondorf, and with differences other than stats, but it might be that his size compared to Link is noticably smaller than that of Fox, and CF to their "clones".

    I understand if you do not like me for not liking TL. Out of all of the "clone" characters, he's the my least favorite. I feel the same way as you do when people dislike Lucina. While I agree that she's too much like Marth in terms of moveset, she is easier to control. Same with Dark Pit.

    I like toon link far more than Regular link. I would be sad if he got removed. Of course I'm being biased since wind waker was one of the first video games I played. But young link is no longer relevant anyways.

    The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. I think it would be nice to have Young Link back, but his moveset could be the masks from Majora's Mask (like Shulk's mechanic, they could power him up in certain ways). Either that, or have his moves based more around the nice items from LOZ:ALBW, they would be superior to Link's items since the nice bow fires 3 arrows,

    the nice Boomerangs isn't exactly an improvement, but he can throw 3 of them instead of just 1 and waiting for it to return, the nice Bombs could be like TL's bombs, and and have a greater explosion area, and the nice Tornado Rod could be his recovery. His Side smash would be the Hammer (nice Hammer when fully charged), his down smash is the nice Fire rod (like Megaman's down smash),

    his up smash is the nice Sand Rod (like Palutena's up smash in terms of area of effect), the rest of his moves uses his sword, except for his down air, which uses the nice Ice Rod to drop an ice block a foe.

    You know what? After playing the original for a little bit, I've grown to appreciate TL playstyle which is similar to Link's in SSB64. I still don't like TL in general, but I do like his playstyle.
