    Sakurai said the roster will be the same for both versions. I think that there could be more stages, possibly a newcomer. But it's not that likely.

    I think he is lying, if you haven't noticed Olimar is 4 characters in one and in 8 man smash it will be 32. Rosalina is 2 and will be 16. Obviously nintendo can pull this off if they could run 4 Olimars on a handheld device.
