Question

Ideas for next Smash Bros Update: - Reporting option in lobby - Kirbyside reason for kicking (not only frustrating but also cheap, and boring) - Better lag identification (and kicking, seeing the lag indicator on the right just rubs it in :I) - Option to invite friends not in-game - Option to play regionally to minimize lag (not like in Mk8 where it looks for regional players with people overseas)

    For those who don't know about Kirbyside, it's a method of camping an edge, spamming Inhale and then jumping off the edge, allowing your victim to fall without any chance of reviving. Many characters (particularly in For Glory) can't deal with this well, and not attacking is simply boring. It's a cheap and disgusting move that I've seen lagging players resort to.

    Kirbyciding is easily countered. The inhale doesn't have a lot of range, so instead of walking right into it, use aerials, projectiles, roll.

    Mate, I fight Lvl 9 AI with Dr.Mario easily. However, I struggle with lag no-matter what: it just throws my game off. I also have this problem with other games (not on a Nintendo device) that I play. Presenting proof wouldn't be a problem but the game doesn't let us post stuff like that yet.

    Also, during lag the timing of attacking players who Kirbyside changes to become really arkward, with input lag not helping either (which causes me grief anyway). Interestingly, during severe lag the Inhale never stopped. And as I main Dr.Mario, the only projectile I have is Megavitamins: spamming that against a Kirbysiding player during lag is boring, bland and frustrating.

    Also Joey, weren't you the guy who was just spamming random attacks and getting lucky during the For Glory Team Smash? I clearly remember you having a score of -1 each time.

    When you fail against something like kirbyside, then you will cry even more with real enemies. Use jump and attack while jumping - problem solved.

    I fail against Kirbysiding due to being an idiot and getting too close - Real enemies are no problem. Right now I wish Smash had the ability to directly upload replays :L

    Joey - Coolies, your name seems to be popular tho. Mino - Yup, but input lag (and lag in general) completely throws my game off. Seriously. I literally need a stable fps and ping to be able to play well - I mostly play without items for this reason (aside from one or two games). I've got this problem with all games that I play - losing skill (and timing) when games stutter.

    Also, I've been experimenting with Dr.Mario for a while, and aside from his Up-B, his air attacks are poor (even the Up-B if you don't get a critical hit). Kirbysiding makes this even tougher as I fight using close-range and mostly grounded attacks - something hard to use against a person who I can only attack on a different position : above (attacking in the air on the other side is too risky).

    Oh, and for the list of things for the next update - a fix for the lifetime ban glitch. I'm glad I haven't been hit by that. Feelings for those who have been hit by it.
