    He backed up towards the wall. What was once an irrational fear he got past had now escalated to something real. Never once did he flinch at the thought of being close to an alien, a mouth full of razor teeth and candy colored horns. Especially one with an attitude.

    Karkat tried to act p!ssed off at Dave, but he just couldn't do it. His heart was shattered at Dave's words. "ST-STRIDER... I'M SORRY... I DIDN'T KNOW I SCARED YOU... I-I SWEAR.." Karkat looked at the window beside Dave, looking at the blizzard. He opened the door and went downstairs. Dave heard the front door open and close.

    Karkat was attempting to run back to his own hive. The wind kept almost making him fall, not mentioning the painful snow. He fell but quickly got back up, not hearing Dave from the loud howling of snow and wind.

    Karkat heard Dave's voice and slowed down. He quickly turned around and saw Dave collapsed. He quickly ran back, but fell from the wind getting stronger. "STRI-STRIDER!!" He stubbornly ran to Dave, pulling him onto his back. Though Dave was bigger than him, he tried running back to Dave's hive. He succeeded, but collapsed from his bones feeling like ice. "STR-STRIDER.."
