Dave was currently chilling in his house, drinking some apple juice and watching a tape he and Bro had made.

Karkat was walking down the street, trying to locate Dave's hive. Karkat's hive was recently broken into and trashed, so he didn't feel safe in his hive alone. Karkat finally reached Dave's hive and knocked, crossing his arms.

Dave perked up, setting his aj on the table before getting up calmly and opening the door. "Hey Kitkat."

(Sorry, I dozed off XD) "STRIDER.. DON'T CALL ME KITKAT. I NEED TO STAY HERE FOR A WHILE... MY HIVE WAS BROKEN INTO AND I DON'T WANT TO BE THERE.." Karkat tried to keep his usual stern look, but frankly, he was terrified.

"All right, Karkitten. We can chill and work on some sick beats. Just don't touch my precious apple juice. It's delicate." He kept his usual blank look, ushering Karkat inside.

"DON'T CALL ME KARKITTEN. AND THANK YOU..I CAN JUST SLEEP ON THE COUCH THEN? AND I DON'T DO 'SICK' OR 'ILL' BEATS. IT MAY BE NORMAL FOR YOU TO MAKE GOG AWFUL NOISES, BUT NOT ME."Karkat walked inside, his arms falling to his sides. He looked around, kinda surprised at how big Dave's hive was.

Dave shrugged. "Alright, Karkitty. You can sleep on my extra bed I guess." He was getting quite a kick out of the nicknames he was coming up with.

"STRIDER I SAID STOP CALLING ME THESE RIDICULOUS NICKNAMES! IT'S REALLY UNNECESSARY!" Karkat turned around and growled at Dave, getting irritated by the nicknames.

"Alright, alright, Nubby. No more nicknames. Got it." He smirked.

(I'm sorry... I fell asleep...) "YOU'RE STILL CALLING ME STUPID F-mew-ING NICKNAMES! STOP IT!" Karkat growled even louder, but his growl turned high pitched and quickly stopped.

"Woah, Karkat. I'm not into your stupid alien hateman crud." He put his hands up jokingly.

"STRIDER GOG SO HELP ME I WILL HURT YOU!!" His voice went highpitched from yelling and he just went back to growling, knowing if he kept yelling, he'd just lose his voice because it can go really highpitched.

He chuckled and adjusted his glasses. "Whatever you say, Karkles."

"GRR... AT LEAST I DON'T MIND THAT STUPID NICKNAME...."Karkat crossed his arms again, looking down. He said these words quietly, since he didn't want Dave to hear completely.

Dave put his hand on Karkat's shoulder, tilting his chin up with his other hand. "Karkat, listen. I need to tell you the truth about something."

"WHAT IS IT STRIDER."Karkat kinda pulled his head back, not trusting this for some reason. "YOU BETTER NOT BE TRYING TO TRICK ME INTO SOMETHING!"

"Me and this apple juice... we're getting married." He stepped back, grabbing onto the bottle and kissing it ironically.

"..F-mew- YOU STRIDER! YOU SERIOUSLY JUST MESSED WITH MY FEELIN--" Karkat stepped back and looked down, his face turning deep strawberry red. Gog dangit, Karkat, you almost slipped.. You did slip.. (KK never told Dave how he feels, only because 1. He thinks Dave'll just find a way to joke about it and 2. He knows Dave won't take it seriously)

He put the bottle down. "What was that, Karkles? I didn't know you even had feelings besides anger." He chuckled.

Dave's smile instantly stopped, knowing he had messed up big time. He quickly ran after Karkat, climbing up the big tree after him. "Karkat, wait! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!"

Karkat looked down, red tinted tears streaming down his cheeks. He climbed higher into the tree until he was hidden by leaves, then he climbed to the other side so he was hidden from Dave. He sat on a really high branch and cried silently into his hands, trying his best to be quiet so Dave couldn't find him.

Dave sat on a low branch, giving up the search. He knew Karkat probably wouldn't forgive him anyway. His heart ached in remorse and he took off his sunglasses to wipe at his own eyes. "Come back! I'm sorry!"

Karkat suddenly sneezed, and Dave was able to locate him. He quickly covered his mouth and looked down, hoping Dave didn't hear the adorable kitten sneeze. "....." Karkat wiped his eyes, resting back and watching the leaves rustle in the brisk cold breeze.

He chuckled at how tiny the sneeze was and he put his suglasses back on, climbing up higher to see him.
