Apologies, lost this post in a sea of notifications. That's what I get for getting involved in a gender debate ._. Wait, was it really good, or really bad?
11/29/2014 10:56 PM ·Spoilers
Oh, my day was great! xP Went to a candy factory and got these delectable caramel squares with marshmallow inside it! Then I finally beat the Final Final Final Final Final Final Boss in the new Binding of Isaac game!
11/30/2014 11:18 AM ·Spoilers
I think the factory was called Hammonds or something. Pretty sure it's locally owned. And yeah, they're delicious. Silly Hushed, the game is never won! But technically, yes, yes I did.
11/30/2014 11:25 AM ·Spoilers
They might. Well the game only takes 30 mins - an hour to win. The game is designed to be played repeatedly, with a new, completely random run each time you play, and new stuff gets unlocked with every victory or death. No matter how impatient you are, the game is quick to destroy you before you get a good item.
11/30/2014 11:36 AM ·Spoilers
Oh, the game usually doesn't kill you that fast. It's very fair, and only one or two enemies are cheap. The game has very fluid controls and is easy to pick up. It's skill based, so your chances of winning correlate to how well you play. I too dislike Mario's constant dying. It's annoying when I'm right by the flag and I miss the jump.
11/30/2014 11:50 AM ·Spoilers
Oh, that'd be no problem for me, I'm a completionist. I'm on the final world in Super Mario 3D World, and I have like a hundred more Green Stars than is necessary to fight Bowser :P But it's really frustrating when I'm RIGHT THERE D:<
11/30/2014 11:59 AM ·Spoilers
Yup, exactly. I wish there were warp zones like in almost EVERY GOOD MARIO GAME ._. Or at least a way to bypass the levels, or anything... :L Nintendo is cruel to the perfectionists and the speedrunners, of which I am both ._.
11/30/2014 12:05 PM ·Spoilers
Oh, Nintendo isn't cruel anymore. I wish I could go back to when Nintendo Hard was a thing. Back when games like Mega Man 2 and NES TMNT were considered "average difficulty". Or back when Pokémon was legitimately challenging. Nintendo isn't cruel anymore, it's just a little painstakingly slow-paced ._.
11/30/2014 12:09 PM ·Spoilers
Before I let you continue, what's your favorite Zelda game? Sorry, gotta make sure you're not a weeaboo like half the people I've met.
11/30/2014 12:17 PM ·Spoilers
There we go, you passed the weeaboo test. Congrats! I swear everyone is a Ocarinafàg. Pardon my French. My favorite is Link to the Past for the SNES., because best console, and because it has almost every element of Zelda used today, despite no being a 3D game. So pretty much it's one of the fathers of the franchise.
11/30/2014 12:28 PM ·Spoilers
i never beat Majora's Mask, Could never get that Deku Mask off ._.
11/30/2014 12:40 PM ·Spoilers
It was fun, though. So unique with the masks and stuff :P
11/30/2014 1:05 PM ·Spoilers
True enough... Oh yeah, my friend is studying Java and the C languages so that he and I (and a few others) can make a game studio. I doubt we'll get far, but it's kinda neat :P
11/30/2014 1:26 PM ·Spoilers
He's still working on learning the codes. But we already have a basic storyline for our first game.
11/30/2014 1:33 PM ·Spoilers
Well, we're still working on it, but I guess there's no harm in sharing... It's in SNES-style 2D-Isometric. So you're an agent, sent to investigate strange happenings at a biological research lab near a town in Siberia. It's empty when you arrives, but as you get deeper in it gets even more eerily quiet. You find biological experiments, titled BioX's and BiEX's. (cont.)
11/30/2014 1:47 PM ·Spoilers
The BioX's were the results of failed pharmaceutical drugs tested on plants. One attacks you, leaving you bleeding and without a weapon. So the objective is to escape, and stop the experiments from getting out and terrorizing the populace. I know, cliche, but we're working on it.
11/30/2014 1:55 PM ·Spoilers
Thanks ya. I have some concept art, if you're interested I can post it in a bit, I'm getting lunch.
11/30/2014 2:06 PM ·Spoilers
Okidokiloki! Just a sec, gotta find which notebook it's in and I'll draw some here.
11/30/2014 2:34 PM ·Spoilers
Thank you, I worked hard on 'em. Got inspired by random things in Biology class, and friend suggested we do something with 'em, so we decided it'd be our premier game :P
11/30/2014 4:04 PM ·Spoilers
I certainly hope it goes far as well. If you ever have a random idea as to what I could add, please let me know. No matter how silly it is, I'm sure I could do something with anything.
11/30/2014 4:49 PM ·Spoilers
Well if you're certain any one is stupid, then don't tell me. But I do have a talent for taking things and making them a lot less stupid and more downright deadly.
11/30/2014 5:02 PM ·Spoilers
Ooh, I like it. Although, for the purpose that it seems normal at first, I'd ignore the static. Maybe as you get further along, add random and short static interruptions, maybe a light flickering, for that errie effect?
11/30/2014 5:06 PM ·Spoilers
Good point. I'll have those hanging lamps, like in the 60's-70's, since this takes place during the Cold War. Then a bulb could fall out...
11/30/2014 5:11 PM ·Spoilers
Do you have ideas for things to have as enemies? Literally ANYTHING will work, as I'm trying to be as unique as possible... :P
11/30/2014 6:36 PM ·Spoilers
Apologies for late reply, didn't get notified. Yes, they are overused. But potentially a single mechanoid boss is necessary. I mean, these things are murderous, you think a human would want to go in and experiment on them? I think not. But yes, surroundings will be a huge enemy in this game.
11/30/2014 6:48 PM ·Spoilers
Oh, no, they'd be protected from any pathogens and diseases. It'd be those experiments that'd kill them. I think that the robot would be a penultimate boss. You think you stopped the thing that created all the experiments, but as you leave some final boss thing stops you.
11/30/2014 6:52 PM ·Spoilers
Oh, no worries, now I have a reason to continue nagging my friend despite him not wanting me to xP >inb4 he gets done and I have to create every spritesheet for every single thing, and work with my other brony friend on the levels ._.
11/30/2014 6:59 PM ·Spoilers
I was nagging him regardless ._. Yeah, it could be a year or two before we're done. But I'll keep you posted. I could probably find a way to get you links to alpha and beta releases as they get done.
11/30/2014 7:09 PM ·Spoilers
You're welcome. I'm glad I got even one person hyped about a silly idea :P
11/30/2014 7:15 PM ·Spoilers
For a random idea me and friend came up with in under an hour, you do see excited... :P Not that I'm complaining.
11/30/2014 7:18 PM ·Spoilers
True ._. :P Later tonight (if I don't fall asleep) I'll post more concept art for you to look at. Getting an outside opinion is always good. :P
12/01/2014 6:30 PM ·Spoilers
Apologies in advance for any late replies, working on a new post :P So how are you today?
12/01/2014 6:49 PM ·Spoilers
Okay, I understand completely. To be honest, I'm in a rather awkward situation myself. Not horrid, but not exactly comfortable...
12/01/2014 7:18 PM ·Spoilers
Can't really explain the situation, not sure what's going on myself. Right now it's just a silly Miiverse thing, but every time something like it happens it always ends in a fight... And I hate fighting...
12/01/2014 7:28 PM ·Spoilers
I don't think so... I'll give the basics. So I have a friend here, Bree. She's my best friend. She has a boyfriend, but I'm getting the feeling she likes me more than him... And she did mention leaving him, because he's never on, and he's been acting strange...
12/01/2014 7:58 PM ·Spoilers
... Please share. I've considered ever possible outcome and I don't think any will result in someone not getting emotionally hurt.
12/01/2014 8:10 PM ·Spoilers
I've wanted to ask that, but I can't bring myself to do it... I'm that guy who tries to bring happiness... I don't want to be the one who brings stress... You understand, don't you?
12/01/2014 8:20 PM ·Spoilers
... ... ... You're right. Just not tonight... Is tomorrow okay?
