    Most Zelda games get a lot of hate. OoT was praised because it was revolutionary at the time. TP's gameplay, and that of every 3D LoZ game, was based off of OoT's.

    One of the reasons it was hated back then was because of the hate on Wind Waker. The fans had been complaining because Wind Waker wasn't as “dark” as Majora's Mask which is why they tried so hard to make TP so dark. Some people say they tried too hard to make it dark.

    I mean it has little lighting and the story was sometimes dark but other than that it wasn't really that dark

    For some people, Oot was their first Zelda game. And back then there were only about 4 Zelda games back then so Oot was amazing back then. It was one of the best-selling games of all time.

    Are you kidding? Skyward Sword gets a ton of hate, especially by TP fans. It's criticized for being too linear, focusing too much on motion controls, and having a mostly empty overworld(the sky) that makes it a pain to get from place to place.

    I played ST, PH, TP, and WW I loved all of them and when I played OoT for 3DS I didn't like it

    There are many Zelda games that get hate like Oracle of Seasons and Ages, WW,PH,SP,TP, but most of all Skyward Sword. I've played almost every Zelda game, seen many different styles, and there isn't a single one I actually hate.

    Actually only Oot and TP had to use iron boots to sink, other Zelda games had link swim somewhat like SS link.

    I said the gampley of all 3D Zelda games were BASED off of OoT. There are huge differences and alterations, of course, but the basic formula is the same.
