    4 months? Nah. im pretty sure it just a remake for just the wiiu version.

    The game did come out for retail some months ago, but Activision's games have never been available for download on the Wii U before, and now they're beginning to release older (& presumably future) games on the Wii U eshop for download. I never realized this game had no miiverse community, but now it does to coincide with the eshop release.
