I just stunbled upon this place. I saw in the eShop that the game features 6 modes. What are they & which one(s) will keep track of my scores for the Friend List & Regional lists?

  • Here are the six main modes: Marathon - 150 lines Endless - Like Marathon, but goes beyond Level 15. However, Levels 20+ are progressively much more difficult, and the final speed at Level 30 will likely end your game! Sprint - clear 40 lines as quickly as possible Ultra - earn a high score in 3 minutes Battle - Vs. CPU Battle Ultimate - Vs. CPU with items

  • There are also four unlockable "Challenge" modes: Rotation Lock - pieces are given in random orientations and cannot be rotated Escalation - Marathon variant, levels are finished by earning a increasing number of points Invisible - the playfield is invisible, but shown for a short time after placing each piece Master - a 150 line Marathon at max gravity

  • All modes are tracked on the leaderboards, but you can online download/watch replays for Marathon, Sprint, and Ultra.

  • It looks like fun. I've got a funny feeling I'll experiment each mode to see which one's the most suitable for an old-school gamer like me. Looks like Marathon & Utra are the ones I may have to perfect in order to put myself at the top of my Friend List standings for sure. Endless seems like a good mode for long car trips. Sprint's the way to get my feet wet as a "beginner". Thanks, KitaruTC.

  • One round of Endless probably won't last a whole car trip. :) Level 30 is very vicious! A game could go 20~30 minutes at a stretch, but probably not much longer. Sprint is also good for new and expert players alike. Skilled players can complete it very quickly -- the best performance on the leaderboards is 45.8 seconds right now.

  • Wos! That'x gotta be tough to beat. As fast as I'm gonna be at my age, anything under 2 minutes is good enough for me.
