I kinda don't like it when multiple versions of a character take up multiple character slots. I'd have rather had the Hero's Shade or even Ashei. But I'll need to play as Twili Midna before I cast my complete judgment of her inclusion.

as long as her moveset/mechanics are different than her imp version im all for having her as a new character what im not a fan of is one person constantly receiving costumes even if they are the staple character of the series... there are tons of costumes that could be made for impa zelda could get a hilda costume (instead of adding hilda) etc. etc. not just link getting multiples. but m excited

Awesome news! I really hope she's a unique character with different movesets and not just a clone of midna. Just a hunch but I predict toon link as one of the next DLC characters with toon link amiibo support in february.

Looking forward to this. Though I'm hoping the new Adventure mode map is actually a brand new custom created map made specifically for this game, and not using the original game's map again. I like being able to explore.

@Hidalgo The only part of the Twilight I liked in TP was turning into a Wolf. The rest of the Twilight stuff was meh but I still love TP!

He says a "familiar character from the Zelda series," rather than just from Twilight Princess (like the Hero's Shade is)... So I'm hoping for a Postman costume for Link, since he's been in more than one game, and Link has taken on the postman role himself in a few games, too.
