    If you want to play online, you might want to check out this version. The old Nintendo DS Wifi Connection service has closed, so you won't be able to play Tetris DS online multiplayer anymore. This version also has some customization options, such as piece speed/sensitivity. A lot of avid players are happy that they can make the pieces move faster than in Tetris DS.

    It doesn't have any of the quirkier modes from Tetris DS, like Catch, Puzzle, and Touch Tower. Most of the modes are pretty standard -- Marathon (150 lines), Endless (much harder than TDS's Endless), Sprint (clear 40 lines as fast as possible), Ultra (earn as many points in 3 minutes), Battle (Vs. CPU/friends/online), and Battle Ultimate (Vs. with items).

    There are also four "Challenge" modes to unlock: Rotation Lock (pieces are given in random orientations and can't be rotated, kind of like TDS Catch), Escalation (a Marathon variant, levels take a certain number of points to finish), Invisible (playfield is only shown for a brief moment after each piece), and Master (like Level 20 in Tetris DS, for 150 lines).
