  • When the opponent only has the King left, you should try to put him in Check every turn. Stalemate happens when the King isn't in Check, but can't move anywhere without moving into Check.

  • If you can't put the King into Check, make sure you give him enough room to be able to make a move. Otherwise, it's Stalemate.

  • yeah create a mating net with both your king and queen. they both have to create threats to force a mate once your opponent is caught in the mating net.

  • It doesn't change the fact that they're correct. At the end, you have to check the King every move or leave him with a space to go to.
